Must be highly organized and posse the ability to prioritize work. Experience with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point) required. Broadcast experience is a plus. |

WIS needs a Morning Meteorologist who can accurately forecast, produce, and present the weather in a fresh, engaging manner. This person is responsible for multiple morning weather segments, traffic reports, and creating digital and social media posts and reports. The ideal candidate would also work tirelessly to boost engagement on all platforms by developing positive interaction and a strong connection with our viewers. The Morning Meteorologist will work closely with the weather team to implement our First Alert Weather brand and develop consistent, comprehensive coverage. We expect our weather team to lead the market and be aggressive in severe weather coverage to keep our viewers informed and safe. As Meteorologist for our Sunrise team you would serve as a top ambassador for the station. The ideal candidate also has a positive attitude and the ability to work seamlessly with the morning team.

• AMS and/or NWA Certified preferred

The person we will interview has to have more than just a great on-air presence and an ability to connect with viewers during our 5pm, 6pm, 7pm and 11pm newscasts. We need a partner with a strong investigative background and excellent storytelling and writing skills. Our anchors must not only be able to produce great content of their own on a consistent basis but mentor other members of the team on a day-to-day basis. We need a anchor who is not afraid to ask tough questions of our leaders in order to get answers for our viewers.
